Gardens

The Vegetable Garden.   This garden measures 60' by 80' (just a 1/10 of an acre), but tending it takes up quite a bit of time during the growing season.   In recent years, I have gardened half of the space each year and had the other half in cover crops -- typically oats. 

Flower Gardens.   The property has many areas with flowers, but there are two principal flower beds -- one by the road and one about 15 feet away from the front of the house.
